Crowdsourcing creative and technological visions of our communities and public spaces, together

Citizen Sci-Fi was a 3-year arts programme for Finsbury Park, produced by Furtherfield Gallery. The programme consisted of exhibitions and events that combined citizen science and citizen journalism by crowdsourcing the imagination of local park users and connecting these with international communities of artists, techies and thinkers. This resulted in a range of labs, workshops, exhibitions and Summer Fairs as a way to grow a new breed of shared culture. Citizen Sci-Fi was comprised of the following:

Our visual identity, motion graphics and bespoke logotypes combine sci-fi aesthetics with rudimentary machine learning and creative coding, embracing the speculative and futuristic themes within the programme and aiming to collaborate with machines.
